The “Magnum” variable heat controller provides a precise and consistent flow of heat to your NW100 Cutting Hot Wire. This is crucial because when heated, a cutting wire will expand, and if the spring is too tight, the wire may break the restricting operation of the mechanism. However, if the spring is loose, the cut will be wobbly, so the Magnum allows you to control the heat, resulting in perfectly consistent cuts.
